Jenny has been practising as a Chartered Physiotherapist since 1987. Formerly a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS, she is a member of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice, the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics, and the Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, The Physiotherapy Pain Association and The British Holistic Medical Association.
Jenny specializes in ergonomics, working for both individuals and corporate clients. She will work with you on work and posture-related conditions - such as RSI (repetitive strain injury), whiplash, neck pain and all types of back pain. Jenny will use her wide experience of medical conditions when carrying out an Ergonomic assessment of your home or company-based office. Ergonomics is the study of human interaction with the tools we use; from the Greek: Ergos - meaning work, and Nomos - natural law. Optimisation of this can often eliminate potential causes of your work-related neck, back, arm, hand or sometimes leg pain.
You will be visited at work, assessed and any changes that can be put into place will be discussed and carried out straightaway if convenient. Further recommendations regarding equipment or the need for treatment will be included in Jenny's report. She has extensive knowlege of ergonomic equipment and is independent of any particular suppliers, so sources only equipment most likely to help you.
